Pauline first tried to invest on her own, but she quickly realized that it was complex, and that it took time that she didn't have.

She heard about Beanstock through word of mouth. At the time, Pauline was already thinking about investing in real estate but did not want to buy her main residence as long as she was living in Paris because of the cost it entailed and the size she could buy.

She therefore exchanged with Emma and explained her financial situation.
